Before you reach out
Most document questions are answered in our guides — check there first if you're in a hurry.
When you contact us, it helps to include:
- The type of document (birth certificate, diploma, power of attorney, etc.)
- Which country the document needs to be used in
- Whether the document is already notarized or translated
- Your timeline, if you have a deadline
After you submit
We'll match your message to a reviewed specialist for your specific document and destination country — you'll get a quote before anything starts.
A few quick answers
- Do I need to visit Korea in person?
- Most services are handled remotely — your specialist submits documents to MOFA or the relevant authority on your behalf. Some steps, like notarizing certain documents, may require an in-person visit.
- Do I need a certified translation too?
- An apostille only certifies that a document is authentic, not translated. Most destination countries also require a certified translation, which we cover as well.
- What if my destination country isn't in the Hague Convention?
- Your document goes through embassy or consular legalization instead — a different, usually longer process involving that country's embassy in Korea.
- How long does it take?
- Standard MOFA apostille processing is typically a few business days once documents are submitted, though this varies by document type and current volume. Mention your deadline when you contact us.
- Are the specialists vetted?
- Yes — every specialist we connect you with is reviewed before being listed. You can see their profile and credentials before you decide to work with them.
- How is pricing set?
- Pricing depends on the document, service, and destination country. Your specialist provides a quote before you commit to anything, so there's no cost to reaching out first.
